Ruco Chan not worried about child's safety during HK protests

22 Nov – Despite there were reports of a tear gas bomb was fired near a residential area recently, Ruco Chan stated that he felt safe enough to bring daughter Quinta out for a stroll near his home.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who attended an event alongside wife Phoebe Sin recently, stated that he is more worried about the dust and dirt from a construction site nearby rather than the idea of a tear gas exploding close to home.

Asked if he and his family will reduce their outings because of the current situation, Ruco responded, "On the contrary, I have been going out more often nowadays since the weather has been nice. But I will always make sure to get everyone disinfected whenever we had to go out. It's not very clean," he said.

On the other hand, the actor was also asked about the recent decision to air a pre-recorded version of TVB's annual gala rather than holding it live.

To that, he said, "It's really sad, because this is the first time in 25 years that such a thing happened. But I think it was important for the company to do that in order to make everything go smoothly," he said.
