Ruco Chan injures leg while filming new drama
21 Feb - "Break a leg" seems to be more than just an expression in Ruco Chan's book, as the actor shared that he had injured his leg while filming his new drama, "Heaven's Will".
As reported on On CC, the actor, who has started filming the new drama late last month, was revealed to have sprained his knee while filming an action sequence, and had to finish his scenes in a wheelchair because of it.
"My kneecap was dislocated," the actor shared with the media recently. "I have never experienced any injury to my knee before, and it's always the simplest moves that gets you injured."
Ruco admitted that the whole thing was his own fault, since he didn't warm up properly before doing the moves.
To make matters worse, his co-star, To Yin Gor also experienced similar injury to his ankle, and had to be hospitalised because of it.
"I wish him a speedy recovery and for everybody in the production to be safe," said Ruco.
As for his own injury, Ruco said that there is nothing he can do except to bear the pain and continue shooting.
