Ruby Lin shares postpartum diet plans


29 Mar - Ruby Lin has stressed that she didn't do much to slim down after giving birth to daughter Angel. But if fans would still like to know how she did it, the good news is, the actress has happily shared her diet routine with the public.

As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese actress, who spoke to the media to promote her new movie, "The Devotion of Suspect X" recently, awkwardly shared that she didn't go to the extreme to slim down since she is breastfeeding her baby.

All she did, said Ruby, was reduce her food intake, increase her water intake, and avoid greasy food.

"It's a long way to losing weight after giving birth," she added.

Ruby shared that she would drink two bottles of chicken essence every morning, in addition to scrambled eggs with ginger, and Eucommia Bark (duzhong) soup. For lunch, she would eat either blanched pork or steamed fish with only a third of a bowl of rice. She would also add vegetables to the mix.

During dinner, Ruby said that she would have either roasted lamb chop or grilled steak with blanched vegetables.

In addition to all the important meals, the actress also opts for snacking on fruits such as strawberry, kiwi, and cherry tomatoes.
