"Dynasty Warrior" is completed but has yet to secure a theatrical release date.
24 Aug – Although the post-production process of his new movie, "Dynasty Warrior", was actually completed late last year, director Roy Chow Hin Yeung stated that the studio has yet to find the right time to release it in theatres.
As reported on Mingpao, Roy, who spoke about the movie, which was based on a video game of the same name, stated that he is looking forward to getting a good slot for the film since it cost the production a lot of money.
"This film used a lot of manpower and material resources. We went to New Zealand to shoot the ancient battlefields and travelled to many snowy mountains and woods. We also have a lot of heavyweight actors performing, like Louis Koo, Tony Yang, Han Geng, Philip Keung, and Guli Nazha."
Other actors who were involved in the project include Carina Lau, Eddie Cheung, and Wang Kai.
"The film also had a closed-door screening at the Busan Film Festival in South Korea, and the response has been quite decent," he added.
