17 Nov – Roxanne Tong has recently dismissed yet another rumour that she and boyfriend Kenneth Ma are tying the knot in 2021.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at an event recently, laughed off claims that Kenneth has successfully proposed to her, saying that it was too early to be planning for marriage.

"We have only been dating a few months. We don't want to rush into it. When we started seeing each other, we had a consensus that we will not hide the news if we were to get married. It's normal for celebrities to date and tie the knot. Our fans are accepting of that," she said.

Roxanne stated that the two did have discussions about marriage, but that it never went too deep.

"We are not young. We are indeed dating with the intention of getting married," she said.

Asked if she has no issue speeding the marriage part up, the actress smiled and said, "I have to ask him. But we are getting along very well, and we understand each other's life. But this thing must be gradual. I will not tolerate flash marriage."

As for reports that her father had bought a luxury home as her dowry, Roxanne sighed and said that the house was partly paid by her.

"The original intention was to buy a house for the family to thank them for all that they have done for me. It has nothing to do with Kenneth," she said.
