Rosyam Nor not offended by "Kabali" role criticism

The Malaysian actor says he accepts the criticism surrounding his role in Rajinikanth's "Kabali".


Datuk Rosyam Nor is already planning to star in another Tamil film.

28 Jul – Respected Malaysian actor, Datuk Rosyam Nor is not offended that his role in the Rajinikanth film, "Kabali" was criticised by a local producer for being too minor.

Datuk Rosyam says that people might have misunderstood the scale of the role that he played in the movie due to the amount of publicity he received.

"I am not blaming anyone, especially the fans who felt disappointed after watching the movie. I am also not offended with what the local producer has said as he has a right to criticise."

"When I am criticised, it means that people love my talent and they know my potential," he said according to Harian Metro.

The 49-year-old actor explained his involvement in the film as one to gain experience from as it was an international production.

He added that the film was the first time that he had gotten a chance like this therefore he would definitely not pass up on the opportunity.

Rosyam was also thankful that he was able to have a fight scene with Rajinikanth.

Meanwhile, his involvement in "Kabali" has opened more doors for the actor as he will be involved in another international Tamil film next.
