In the wake of a string of cheerful and upbeat titles like "Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi" with Ozuna and "Fucking Money Man," with "A Palé," Rosalía has returned to the conceptual genre that marked her second album.
As for the video, the artist chose to shoot some sequences in an industrial space where she can be seen jumping from one container to another and on the conveyor belt of a packaging line.
A year after her first album "Los Angeles," Rosalía released her critically acclaimed second album "El Mal Querer" in 2018. The tracks on this conceptual record were inspired by an anonymous 13th century novel "Flamenca," which tells of an impossible love. The result was an adroit mixture of flamenco and urban pop.
Following the release of this opus, the Spanish musician brought out the singles "Aute Cuture," "Fucking Money Man" and collaborated with James Balvin for "Con Altura" and with Ozuna for "Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi." She also featured on the soundtrack for "Game of Thrones" and on James Blake's most recent album in the title "Barefoot in the Park."
At the most recent MTV Europe Music Awards, Rosalía won the prize for the best collaboration for her song "Con Altura."
