Ronda Rousey and Tina Fey Unite In Universal Comedy Do Nothing Bitches

We can safely say this is one big screen double act we did not see coming. (But then, time was we could say the same of Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.)

Deadline report that comedy superstar Tina Fey (recently seen in ‘Sisters’) and MMA icon Ronda Rousey (recently seen fighting Michelle Rodriguez in Fast & Furious 7′) are to share the screen in ‘Do Nothing Bitches,’ a new movie from ‘Sisters’ writer Paula Pell.

While plot details are scarce, it is reported the Universal production will be “a female-empowerment tale dealing with wealthy pampered wives who get a rude awakening at a camp where Rousey plays the no-nonsense instructor.”

The title itself comes from Rousey, who uses the term ‘do nothing bitch’ or ‘DNB’ to describe “the kind of woman my mother raised me to not be… the kind of chick that just tries to be pretty and be taken care of by somebody else.”

So if Rousey’s character in the movie is to be the opposite of a DNB, we can make an educated guess about what Fey’s role will be.

No director has been announced for ‘Do Nothing Bitches,’ but Fey and Pell will produce.

Fey will next be seen in ‘Whiskey Tango Foxtrot,’ opening 4 March, whilst Rousey is set to take the lead in a remake of Patrick Swayze’s cult action movie ‘Road House.’
