Ron Perlman is no fan of disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

And now the 68-year-old star of Hellboy and Sons of Anarchy has revealed one occasion he turned the tables on him.

When appearing at a charity event, Weinstein had told Perlman to make sure that he publicly shook his hand in the receiving line.

Perlman had other ideas.

He’s previously mentioned his disdain for Weinstein, last year picking up on another tale about the movie mogul from director James Cameron.

Cameron had recalled how, following a row at the 1998 Oscars, he’d nearly hit Weinstein with one of the many gongs he’d won for Titanic.

Perlman then retweeted a link to the story, adding: “Man, if I had an Oscar for every time I almost hit Harvey Weinstein!!”

Weinstein pleaded not guilty to charges of multiple sexual assault and rape in New York earlier this month, after being arrested in May.

“Mr. Weinstein intends to… vigorously defend against these unsupported allegations that he strongly denies,” said his lawyer Benjamin Brafman.

“We will soon formally move to dismiss the indictment and if this case actually proceeds to trial, we expect Mr. Weinstein to be acquitted.”
