Roger Kwok happy to join Eddie Cheung on "Flying Tiger 3"
14 Jul – Roger Kwok is the latest star to join the star-studded cast of Shaw Brothers' "Flying Tiger 3".
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who appeared alongside original cast member Eddie Cheung at the press conference of the said drama, shared that he is happy to be given the chance to join the said franchise and is happy to play a microbiologist in the third series.
"We are filming during the hot summer, and fortunately I have no any action scene," he said with a smile.
Roger admitted that the project came at the right time, as both his and Eddie Cheung's projects in mainland China are halted due to the pandemic.
On the other hand, Eddie, whose drama "The Song of Glory" is currently airing in mainland China, shared that he was not able to join the promotional activities because of the current situation.
"I am just happy that the drama is now number one in terms of viewership," he said.
Asked if he is saddened since he can't return to mainland China, Eddie responded, "Although we're earning less, I think health is the most important. Hopefully the pandemic will pass quickly so that we can all get our jobs back."
