Robynn Yip won't slow down music career after marriage
9 May – Although she is now a married woman, Hong Kong singer Robynn Yip stated that she will always be a part of the duo Robynn & Kendy.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who recently released a new album with her singing partner Kendy Suen, shared that music will always be her source of happiness.
"It occupies an important part of my life, so I certainly would like for us to continue doing our music," she said.
Meanwhile, Kendy joked that despite Robynn being married to her non-showbiz husband Jonathan, people are more familiar with the name Robynn & Kendy.
"They hang the banner with the words Robynn & Jonathan at the wedding, but people keep saying Robynn & Kendy instead. I am jealous of them, since Jonathan cooks great food for Robynn. But when it comes to music, Jonathan can stand aside," she said with a jest.
Asked if she is influenced by Robynn's newfound happiness, Kendy said, "I am, but I am not ready for marriage."
Robynn & Kendy's new album, "Curations" carries nine new singles and 18 of their hit tracks, including "The Story of a Star" and "We Against The World".
