SINGAPORE – Robinsons Online is on schedule to go live tomorrow (24 June) at 3pm, under the new management Robinsons Department Store Online. In a virtual press conference held today, managing director of Robinsons Singapore, Jordan Prainito, said that at the relaunch, over 1,000 products from 200 brands will be on sale for up to 60 per cent off.

Department store chain Robinsons closed its stores in Malaysia and Singapore last year after 162 years of operations amid poor business during the pandemic. It has since changed management and now operates purely online with no brick-and-mortar stores. Robinsons now operates only in Singapore.

Prainito, 29, feels privileged to be "involved with such an iconic brand and is passionate about getting Robinsons up and running once again."

“We are excited to continue the legacy of the 163-year-old retail icon as an online department store focused on a high quality, compelling value curation strategy. In addition, we are committed to provide an excellent user experience as well as prompt and attentive customer service that Singaporeans have come to know Robinsons for,” Prainito added.
