'I don't know the man' - Robin Wright breaks silence on Kevin Spacey
Robin Wright has broken her silence on the accusations of sexual harassment and the firing of her House of Cards co-star Kevin Spacey.
Wright, who plays Spacey’s character Frank Underwood’s wife Claire on the Netflix series, suggests that while the pair worked together closely, they were not close personally.
In an excerpt from an interview with NBC, Wright said: “Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut and in between setups, where we would giggle.
“I didn’t really – I didn’t know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is.”

The full interview, conducted by Savannah Guthrie, will air later today in the US on the Today show.
Spacey has been accused by dozens of men of sexual harassment, and was fired from House of Cards last year, despite filming having already begun on the final series in Baltimore.
Almost the entire sixth series then had to be re-written.
The final season will now revolve entirely around Wright’s character, with a recent teaser for the show appearing to reference Spacey’s departure.
Released on July 4, it found Wright declaring: “Happy Independence Day. To Me.”

Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp was the first to come forward, claiming that Spacey had tried to molest him when he was 14.
He was followed by others from the crew of House of Cards, and then more stories began to emerge from the time that he was creative director of the Old Vic theatre in London.
Gabriel Byrne has also claimed that filming on The Usual Suspects was briefly shut down due to Spacey’s inappropriate behaviour.
Meanwhile, Guy Pearce appeared to suggest he may have had his own run-in with Spacey while making L.A. Confidential.
“He’s a handsy guy. Thankfully I was 29, and not 14,” he said during a recent interview.
The Metropolitan Police are currently investigating six allegations against the actor.
