Rihanna’s FENTY X PUMA Spring-Summer collection to hit Singapore this week
Fashion aficionados and fans of Rihanna rejoice, because the highly-anticipated FENTY X PUMA collection by Rihanna is set to be released in Singapore from Thursday (9 March) at PUMA retail stores and authorised retailers.
The brand announced on Tuesday (7 March) that the new collection will be released progressively every month until June, starting with their kicks.
Look out for the footwear range, which includes the FENTY X PUMA Bow Slides in olive branch and silver pink, FENTY X PUMA Bow Sneakers in olive branch and silver pink, FENTY X PUMA Sneaker Boot Zip and the FENTY X PUMA Lace Up Heel in silver, pink, aleutian and sesame.
The rest of the collection, which also includes apparels and accessories, will be released from April.
The Spring – Summer 2017 collection is an eclectic mix of 18th Century French Rococo, Neo Classical flair and athletic street styles, with exaggerated and oversized shapes and contrasted soft hues with hard-edged street-inspired looks for both men and women.
“It is as if Marie Antoinette went to the gym!” Rihanna has said of this collection when it launched in September 2016.
She continued: “I’m very thrilled to finally see the collection out there. It was such a fun and rewarding experience to create the collection and seeing it come alive on the runway and in our campaign. Now, I can’t wait for everyone to wear it their own way, mix and match and represent their FENTY X PUMA favorites in their everyday style.”
The singer acted as creative director of the SS17 collection, and brought aboard iconic photographer Tim Walker to help capture the essence of the FENTY brand in this collection.
