If you and your partner are staying-in this Christmas, you can’t go wrong with one of the few restaurants in Singapore that caters a festive dinner for an intimate party of two. Priced at S$98+, the team at The Garage has curated a hearty menu that includes Palermo Pepper, served with burrata, anchovies, and ginger flower; Sucrine Lettuce, served with miso cream and almond; and Roasted Brussel Sprouts served with an orange reduction.

For mains, there’s a Turkey Bacon Roulade with slices of bacon-wrapped turkey roll with a “stuffing” or crumbs of bacon, cranberry, bread and chestnuts; a Wagyu Rump Cap, simply grilled; and a tender grilled Kurobuta Pork Belly, that has been brined for 48 hours, and sous-vide for another 24. There’s also a “Chicken Rice” Couscous that makes for an ideal accompaniment to your Christmas feasting.

For a sweet ending, The Garage has included a chocolate lover’s favourite, the Chocolate Merlot Cake—a dark chocolate sponge with a luscious merlot and chocolate mousse, draped in a dark chocolate glaze.
