'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' tops world box office

Thanks to a massive debut in China, Sony's "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" took the top spot at the international box office this weekend.

The sixth installment of the franchise raked in $97 million over the weekend, most of it ($94.3 million) from theater-goers in China, according to comScore, which provides real-time worldwide box office reporting.
