Remus Choy is confident he didn't get COVID-19 from Robert Mak

27 Jul – Remus Choy recently assured that he is fine and safe from COVID-19, despite previously being at the same event that Robert Mak attended prior to the latter's diagnosis.

As reported on Mingpao, in response to the media's inquiry, the actor stated that the event in question was the birthday celebration of a PolyGram colleague.

"I went there at 7pm and stayed for a while, and congratulated the colleague. When I left at 8pm, I saw Ron Ng came in. I didn't see Robert nor Joey Tang at all," he said.

Remus also thanked everybody for their concern, saying that he is as healthy as anybody can be - doing sports every day and rarely went out to the streets in recent weeks.

"Whenever I am free, I would use the time to try and make new dishes," he added.

It is noted that Robert, who was infected with COVID-19 through his interaction with his manager girlfriend Apple, has met with many people in the showbiz circle during the 14-day incubation period, including Joey Tang, Ron Ng, and Matthew Ko.
