19 Oct – Right off the bat, Regine Velasquez received her first three projects as she signs with the Kapamilya network.

As reported on ABS-CBN, Velasquez, who attended her contract signing event recently, revealed that she will be one of the judges at the upcoming singing competition, "Idol Philippines".

Said Velasquez, it would be the first time for her to judge a singing competition in her career. It is noted that her last show with GMA-7 was the talent competition, "The Clash", but she served as a host instead.

She also revealed that she will be recording the theme song of the upcoming series, "The General's Daughter", starring Angel Locsin. The song will be composed by husband Ogie Alcasid.

On the other hand, aside from appearing on the "ASAP Live in Sydney", which was Velasquez's first project with ABS-CBN that was announced, the singer will also appear on the Sunday variety show.

"I am so excited because I get to work with Sarah [Geronimo], plus I get to work with other singers in ASAP," she enthused.

She will also be working on a sitcom for the first time, which will be joined by her husband Ogie Alcasid and Ian Veneracion.

"It's my dream to work with him and now I am given this sitcom and I am so excited," she said.
