Reese Witherspoon's lifestyle brand Draper James has collaborated with retailer Lands' End on a new collection.
Featuring swimwear, cover-ups, and accessories, the limited-edition line merges Draper James' Southern Americana appeal with Lands' End's classic wearable designs - and fans of the actress' label will be quick to spot her signature gingham and magnolia prints among the pieces.
Offered in a range of sizes from extra small to extra large, it was important for both Reese and the team at Lands' End for the designs to promote body positivity.
"Lands' End's approach to swim and dedication to fit-testing in all sizes was in line with our goal to deliver comfort, style and body confidence. We are beyond excited to be able to bring our signature prints, design details and Lands' End's tried-and-true fit to women of all shapes and sizes," she shared, while Chieh Tsai, chief product officer at Lands' End, added: "At Lands' End we pride ourselves on fitting every body and focus on creating comfortable pieces for our customer. We strive to provide our customer with the best possible fit to make her feel stylish and confident in her everyday life."
As part of the collection's launch, Reese has declared that some of the proceeds will go to charitable organisation Girls Inc., a nonprofit that advocates for girls between ages of six and 18, encouraging them to be strong, smart, and bold.
The 44-year-old also posted news of the collaboration to her Instagram followers, and commented: ''In hard times like this, I really try to focus on the ways I can help others. So, in a way, the timing couldn't be more right for this collaboration.''
