6 Mar – Rebecca Zhu is finally back in Hong Kong after more than a month away in her hometown Suzhou.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who appeared at the promotional event of "Forensic Heroes IV" recently, shared that she is happy that two of her dramas, including "The Dripping Sauce" achieved good results in viewership ratings.
"I hope that the ratings will continue to rise. Hopefully, once the pandemic ends, we can hold a feast with producer Leung Choi Yuen," she said.
Rebecca, who stayed in Suzhou following the death of her grandmother and the subsequent pandemic, stated that she is still saddened by the loss, but is in better mood now.
"I can't help but cry whenever I think about her, but there are things that you have to do. My mother is still in Suzhou, but I have to return to work. This experience has made me cherish my family even more. The pandemic may be temporary, but family is forever," she said.
Speaking about the pandemic, the actress said that she didn't leave the family home at all while she was in the city, and even went on self-quarantine for 14 days as soon as she returned to Hong Kong.
Asked if rumoured boyfriend Owen Cheung served as her "delivery guy" throughout her quarantine, Rebecca laughed and replied, "No, he is very busy. But he did send me text messages."
