Read This Woman's Incredible Rant About Her Ex Who Bought Her a Blender

From Cosmopolitan

While some would argue that there's no "good" way to break up with someone, there's definitely a bad way, and it's this. Luckily, this woman from Brooklyn, New York didn't take it lying down, turning to Craigslist to post about her ex who gave her a blender (specifically a 5200 series Vitamix) as a parting gift after their breakup.

The story starts like most modern love stories do: on Tinder. The poster matched with a corporate lawyer, and although the relationship had a rocky start, they quickly fell in love.

"He's kind," she writes in the listing, despite the fact that he initially ghosted her after their first date. "Not like other corporate lawyers, you tell your friends, who smile painfully. He wants to leave Wappen & Kladden! He has values! He's sensitive!"

Then one night, it all changed. Apparently, the couple had just watched a movie about the "futility of monogamy" and the lawyer freaked. "The guy who committed to 80-hour work weeks for nebulous reasons is scared of commitment," she scoffs.

Thus began the crumbling of their relationship, culminating in a horrible trip upstate with his friends. "This is when he decides you're incompatible," she writes, saying that he later came over to tell her he now sees her in a "negative way." Still, she had to be the one to initiate the breakup - did we mention it's a day after he birthday?

"A few days later, this Vitamix arrives at your door," she continues. "Either he wants you back, or he does not understand the human species."

Turns out, it's the latter. Not only is it a weird gesture, but the blender also looks just like his office building, so it has to go. So for a mere $400, you can buy a blender and this woman's emotional baggage!

"I am also available for dates," the post concludes, but suiters be warned: you best be the proud owner of a NutriBullet.
