27 Jul – With the number of cases decreasing in mainland China, Hong Kong actor Ray Lui is back in the north again to resume filming his acting projects.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who will be busy filming several movies and reality shows in mainland China until September, shared that he has had a lot of backlog work since the previous restriction caused by the pandemic, and so decided to set off back to the mainland as soon as the outbreak was under control.
Although he will be working non-stop until November - when he will finally return to Hong Kong again, Ray said that he is not worried about his safety.
"The Chinese safety measures are well in place. No case has been reported in Hengdian for several months, so you can be rest assured," he said.
However, the actor stressed that he will not be too relaxed, and will make sure that his personal hygiene is maintained.
"I would go straight back to the hotel to rest after work, and always make sure to have masks and disinfectants with me," he added.
