Ratings: CBS’ ‘The Good Fight’ Debut Gets Knocked Out by ABC Movie

“The Good Fight” didn’t quite put its’ dukes up in broadcast’s key 18-49 demographic on Sunday, though CBS still won the evening among total viewers.

ABC topped the main demo in primetime with movie “Tangled.” CBS and Fox tied for second, with NBC close behind.

The whole night was fairly soft with President’s Day looming. Last Sunday, CBS’ Grammy Awards beat down mostly reruns.

ABC was first in ratings among the Big 4 nets, with a 0.9 rating in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic. The Disney-owned channel was third in total viewers with an average of 3.9 million, however, according to preliminary numbers. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” at 7 p.m. had a 1.0 and 5.4 million viewers. “Tangled” pulled the demo average up from 8-10; “To Tell the Truth” at 10 got a 0.7 and 2.8 million viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.8. CBS was first in viewers with 7.7 million, Fox was fourth with 1.7 million.

For CBS, “60 Minutes” at 7 received a 1.0 and 10.2 million viewers. “The Good Fight” at 8 managed a 0.7 and 7.2 million viewers. “NCIS: Los Angeles” at 9 landed a 1.1 and 8.5 million viewers. At 10, “Elementary” closed prime to a 0.7 and 5 million viewers.

For Fox, following reruns, “The Simpsons” at 8 had a 1.1 and 2.5 million viewers. At 8:30, “Son of Zorn” got a 0.7 and 1.6 million viewers. “Family Guy” at 9 received a 1.0 and 2.2 million viewers. At 9:30, “Bob’s Burgers” garnered a 0.9 and 1.9 million viewers.

NBC was fourth in ratings with a 0.7, but second in viewers with 4.2 million. After a repeat, the network’s 90th anniversary celebration special averaged a 0.7 and 4.4 million viewers.
