Ramlah Ram is not looking for new love
15 May – Although it has been more than ten years since her divorce, Ramlah Ram recently admitted that she is not putting marriage as a priority anymore.
The singer, who recently released her new Eid song, "Kemenangan", told the media as much when asked about her single status, saying that she will be happy with anything that is given by God to her.
"When it comes to marriage, it is God's work. I wouldn't dare say much about it. I don't really pay any attention to it, and I get uncomfortable with people easily, so how would anybody get close to me?" she said.
Ramlah stated that while she does think about having a spouse as a companion in her old age, she believes in God's will.
"I used to plan these kind of things, but now I leave it to Him. He makes the best arrangement. Let's just pray for the best," she added.
Ramlah tied the knot with RTM sports producer Kamal Roslin back in 2000. They ended the marriage in May 2010 citing irreconcilable differences.
