Raja Ilya welcomes her first daughter
4 Jul – Raja Ilya has recently given birth to her first child.
The actress, known for playing Inspector Shakila in the cop series, "Gerak Khas", shared the good news on social media, revealing that her baby girl Talita Love Garrett was born on 1 July.
"[Praise be to God] that our baby girl is here. If you had said to me I'll be pregnant in [three] years, I would have laughed. Today I experienced a miracle, a magical moment, the birth of my baby girl Talita Love. There were tears, I'm still in shock," she wrote.
"Thank you for all your love, support and prayer, it's greatly felt. I can't wait to return to Malaysia early next year with the baby. Wait for us okay..." she added.
Fans and friends alike took to the comments to congratulate the actress, including Sherry Ibrahim, Adeline Tsen, and singer Jaclyn Victor, the former who posted, "May your baby be blessed with good health, love and laughter. Congratulations!"
Raja Ilya tied the knot with Australian businessman Trent Garrett in December 2018 and has been living in the country throughout the pregnancy.
