Rainie Yang is not affected by cyberbullies

10 May - Taiwanese singer Rainie Yang recently thanked her fans for standing up for her against her cyberbullies, and admitting that words will never hurt her.

As reported on Mingpao, previously, Rainie found herself being insulted and attacked online after she shared an innocent photo of herself to show off a temporary tattoo of a rainbow on her neck. Some even started accusing her of having done plastic surgery to her face.

When fans decided to defend her in the comments, the trolls directed their insults to Rainie's parents, saying that the singer's parents "deserve to die".

The singer finally responded wittily, "How convenient it is to cuss at others, and yet so hard to do a meaningful deed."

The next day, Rainie posted another photo of her and her pet dog Yumi, and expressed her gratitude to her fans for willingly sticking up for her.

She added, "I am very touched. But I don't really care about these malicious insults. Don't worry about me. I have experienced cyberbullying for more than 15 years, it's not that bad this time."

Rainie added that she is surrounded by many warm and positive people, and have no time to care about trivial things.
