Rain Li is confident with health after Hokkaido trip

6 Mar – Rain Li is certain that she is in fine health, after returning to Hong Kong from her trip to Japan recently.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who spoke to the media as she arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport, shared that she was nowhere near the areas where COVID-19 was reported, although she was in Niseko - which is located in Hokkaido where 79 cases were confirmed.

"The trip had been planned much earlier. We went skiing in Niseko and it felt safe," she said.

Asked if she saw Nicholas Tse - who was rumoured to have been to Japan - while she was there, Rain said that she only saw Yumiko Cheng, Wilfred Lau, and Samuel Pang.

As to whether she was not worried at all about the outbreak in Hokkaido, Rain replied, "We took great care of our hygiene. We wore masks and sprayed disinfectant when we went out. We also brought cleaning supplies with us," she said.

The actress acknowledged that the situation in Hokkaido is worrying, but stressed that she made sure to wear layers of protective clothing when she boarded the plane back.
