Raffles Arcade, the shopping wing of Raffles Hotel, has reopened after a two-year revamp with a new mix of tenants. Besides retail stores and restaurants, Raffles Arcade (formerly called Raffles Hotel Arcade) will also house a spa, an art gallery, and a co-working space.
Actor Kang Ji-hwan of Children of a Lesser God was arrested at his home in Gwangju, South Korea, after two women alleged that he sexually assaulted them after a company dinner. Reports from South Korean media claims that the incident happened after both women continued drinking with him after the company dinner, and that he had assaulted one of the women while she was sleeping.
Rock band Metallica will release an illustrated children’s book titled The ABCs of Metallica on November 26, the band announced yesterday. It is co-written with Howie Abrams of Hip Hop Alphabet, will feature the artwork of Michael ‘Kaves’ McLeer. The book will cover the band’s history from the letters A to Z, with each letter representing a milestone in the band’s journey, as well as fun facts about them.
Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown has been riding the waves of her popularity hard, with the latest season of the show breaking records and launching new collections in collaboration with some notable fashion brands. Now, the 15-year-old has just been announced to join the cast of The Eternal, alongside Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden.
The new spine-tingling teasers for American Horror Story: 1984 is now released, with some familiar faces, although some of the long time AHS cast members like Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson are noticeably missing. A second teaser for 1984 introduces the cast in their full 80’s kitschy getup, complete with leotards, bleached tips, cropped tops, and too-short gym shorts.
