Qin Lan hopes to do Hong Kong dramas again

18 Sep – Chinese actress Qin Lan has recently expressed interest to work in a Hong Kong television drama.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who is currently enjoying her popularity playing the role of Lady Fucha in "Story of Yanxi Palace", shared that it has been a long time since she starred in a Hong Kong drama.

It is noted that Qin Lan previously played the Song army's vanguard Ngok Ngan Ping in the 2004 ATV drama, "My Date with a Vampire III".

"I hope I would get another chance to shoot a Hong Kong drama. I grew up watching TVB dramas, which is why I was so happy to be able to work with Charmaine Sheh [in "Yanxi Palace']," said Qin during an appearance at a Giorgio Armani event in Hong Kong.

When asked which Hong Kong actor she would like to collaborate with the most, Qin named award-winning actor Tony Leung.

"He is a very talented actor. I hope to convey this through friends," she said.

On the other hand, when asked to address rumours that she was paid millions to appear at the event, she smiled and responded, "One can't be too greedy."
