German sportswear brand Puma has just announced a new collection with visual artist Bradley Theodore. While his name may not ring a familiar bell here, you’d be surprised to know the Caribbean-born American artist stirred headlines for his striking Dia de los Muertos caricature style of Vogue editor Anna Wintour and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld (those paintings rake about SGD31,000 each!). Even GQ Magazine had described his works as “chromatic thunderstorms – at once exhilarating, incontrovertibly powerful and ever so slightly chilling.”

Puma x Bradley Theodore’s second collection features his signature colours and style, a splash of happiness and colour-blocking prints of today’s cultural representation, like hearts, skulls and hashtags.

For the sneakers, the Puma Thunder Bradley Theodore is designed with a soft leather upper and contrast mesh lining while the chunky sole is decked with neon colour-blocked TPU inserts. The Puma Capri Bradley Theodore, a classic vulcanized silhouette is built with a soft leather upper featuring hand-drawn effects of tonal glossy graphics on quarter panels with the famed ‘New York’ script. For the classic court silhouettes Puma Basket Mid Bradley Theodore and Puma Clyde Bradley Theodore, the artist works with his colourful hand-drawn graphics on quarter panels and a debossed ‘Bradley Theodore’ signature on medial side. To complete the collection, there are caps, hoodies, T-shirts and a cool tote bag.

The PUMA x Bradley Theodore collection drops in stores on January 12th, and will be available at PUMA Bugis+, PUMA SELECT MBS, AW LAB, CK Tangs, Limited Edt., STAR 360 and The Social Foot. The collection will range from SGD55 to SGD249.

Here are some of our favourite picks from the collection. We reckon you might want to chope this before they go flying off the shelves.
