Warning: Home renovation duo Drew and Jonathan Scott are probably going to make you cry with their new HGTV show, Forever Home. Fans of the Property Brothers have known them for their practical advice and goofball antics on their shows, but this latest series gets personal.

“Jonathan and I have been doing our shows for about ten years, and we did find there was sort of a gap,” explains Drew Scott to People. “For Property Brothers, you had to be looking to buy a house. For Buying and Selling, you had to be selling a house. And we always had people saying to us, what about everybody else in the middle who already has a house, and they just want to make it home?”

The show focuses on families who aren't looking for a piece of property-they already have one. The design duo will take the house and turn it into a true forever home, figuring out how to make it work even better for the family that already lives in it. The Property Brothers also confess that some episodes will be very emotional, which is much different route than their previous shows with HGTV.

“There’s more heart in the stories,” Jonathan Scott told People. “You get very, very close with these families, when you’re working side by side with them for so long,” he adds. “That’s why it’s special.”

One home makeover, in particular stands out-it was for a family that lives in a modest home, but has taken in more than 30 foster children, in addition to raising their biological kids. Instead of looking for a bigger house, the kids told them: "‘No, this is all we’ve ever known, and this is where all the memories are. We love this house and we want to make it perfect,'” Jonathan says.

Property Brothers: Forever Home will premiere on Wednesday, May 29, at 9 p.m. ET on HGTV.
