3 Apr – Staying at home for prolonged periods of time can induce cabin fever, which is why The Projector has come up with a fun and brilliant way to encourage everyone to beat the looming cabin fever by making short films about it!

The arthouse cinema has recently launched its Stay-At-Home Insta Story Short Film Competition. It's open for submissions now until 15 April 2020 (Wednesday).

Each short film must be around 1 minute. It can be the participant's own original story or a lo-fi remake of their favourite scene. Orientation doesn't matter as it can be in either landscape or portrait, but Tiktoks with copyrighted music are not allowed.

"You will be judged be creativity, originality and incredulity," as posted on The Projector's Facebook. Check out the cinema's social media to find out how to join the competition.

Winners will be announced on 17 April 2020.

Winning entries a.k.a. "the best kino masterpieces" will be played in the cinema's Insta Story highlight.

Winners will get cool prizes, too! (But, like warned, please manage your expectations).
