Chopra may be joining Reeves in the new movie.
30 Jan – There is a high chance that Priyanka Chopra will be a part of the fourth instalment of the hit sci-fi franchise, "The Matrix".
The Indian actress and former beauty queen was recently revealed to be in final talks to join "The Matrix 4", which will see the return of Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss as Neo and Trinity among others.
However, Chopra seemed to be keeping mum regarding the whole project, as she made no mention about it on social media despite her frequent updates.
It is noted that the upcoming movie will also star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jessica Henwick, who are joining Reeves and Moss alongside other original cast members like Jada Pinkett Smith and Lambert Wilson.
Last week, it was reported that Hugo Weaving, who played the role of Agent Smith, will not be reprising the role in the new movie due to scheduling conflicts.
Chopra, who made her debut in the United States through the ABC series, "Quantico" after many years in Bollywood, has starred in several Hollywood movie projects since then, including 2017's "Baywatch" and Netflix's "Isn't It Romantic?"
