The Duchess of Sussex’s fashion influence in undeniable, and it seems even members of her own family are taking style pointers from their new relative.

Yesterday, Princess Eugenie of York stepped out in London for the Nelson Mandela Centenary Celebration at Coutts Bank wearing a cowl-neck, green dress and a very familiar pair of heels.

The 28-year-old’s beige, pointy heels are Aquazzura‘s Matilde crisscross suede 105mm pumps, the same heels Meghan wore for her engagement photo call alongside Prince Harry in the Sunken Gardens of Kensington Palace back in November 2017.

The Duchess is a longtime fan of the Italian footwear label, and has worn designs from the brand time and time again.

The 36-year-old even wore Aquazzura on her wedding day, donning a pair of pale blue pumps (her Something Blue, perhaps?) to her evening reception at Frogmore House.

Maybe the new relatives have been swapping fashion tips? We hope so.

This week, it was revealed Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank, were opening up their wedding to the public.

The couple are due to marry on October 12th at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same chapel where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously wed on 19 May.

The soon-to-be newlyweds announced that 1,200 members of the public will be able to watch guests arrive at the congregation before having the opportunity to tune into a live broadcast of the ceremony.

Those with a golden ticket will also be invited to watch the bride and groom depart the chapel where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex famously wed on 19 May.

The couple’s announcement mirrors the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to invite 2,640 members of the public to their wedding.
