How do you top the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s royal wedding? You hire David and Victoria Beckham‘s party planner of course.

According to the Sunday Times, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have called in Peregrine Armstrong-Jones to help organise their wedding party.

The A-list planner, who was behind the Beckham’s 1999 nuptials, will help organise the royal couple’s two-day celebrations.

On October 12, Queen Elizabeth II will host a post-wedding lunch before the Duke and Duchess of York throw a black-tie reception at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

But that’s not all, as guests will have to quickly overcome their hangover for a second day of celebrations set to take place in the grounds of the stately home.

The soon-to-be newlyweds have reportedly eschewed tradition in favour of a “festival and funfair” themed party organised by Bentleys Entertainment – a party planning company founded by Armstrong-Jones.

According to a royal source, “There will be dodgems and funfair rides, coconut shies, lots of food stalls, loads of cocktails, Bloody Marys for the hangovers and a festival vibe”.

The news comes after it was revealed that the couple have invited more guests to their nuptials than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Despite St George’s Chapel only being able to hold 800 guests, Princess Eugenie has reportedly invited 850 – meaning that extra chairs may need to be brought in.

The couple have also followed in Harry and Meghan’s footsteps by inviting 1,200 members of the public to celebrate the big day.

But the upcoming wedding has not been without its controversy. Prince Andrew recently came under fire for not paying for his daughter’s upcoming nuptials after it was revealed that the £750,000 security bill will be footed by the public.

The royal wedding will take place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on October 12.
