Princess Charlotte took charge of the other bridesmaids and was 'really organised' at the royal wedding
Some three year olds (and thirty year olds) would be a fidgety bag of nerves if they were a bridesmaid at the royal wedding, but not Princess Charlotte.
Looking super cute in matching Givenchy, Princess Charlotte took full charge of Meghan Markle’s two page boys – Brian and John Mulroney– and the other bridesmaids when following her new auntie down the aisle.
While people shuffled in their pews and music started as Meghan Markle arrived at St. George’s chapel, one guest noticed Princess Charlotte’s perfectly poised demeanour.
Talking to People magazine, the guest explained: “[Princess Charlotte] was really sweet.
“There was one girl who wanted to go and she said: ‘No you can’t go yet. We have to wait until we are asked’.
“She was really organised!”
It comes as no surprise that Princess Charlotte takes after her mother and her great grandmother’s assuredness.
Unlike most three year olds, Princess Charlotte has lived her whole life in the public eye and has mastered her royal wave.
She was also a bridesmaid at her aunty Pippa’s wedding, so she knows exactly how fast to walk down the aisle and how to follow instructions.
As well as looking out for wedding cues from her mum, the Duchess of Cambridge, Charlotte would have been looking at her nanny, Maria Borrallo, who according to the Telegraph, coaxed the children into behaving properly with the promise of smarties at the end of it all.
With almost 30 million people all over the world watching the ceremony, you’d have to feed us A LOT of smarties to calm our wedding nerves.
