Princess Beatrice Elizabeth Mary is the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

She was born on 8 August 1988 at The Portland Hospital in London and is currently eighth in line to the throne.

She is set to be her younger sister Princess Eugenie’s maid of honour at her wedding on Friday 12 October at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

The royal started her education at Upton House School in Berkshire before attending Coworth Park School. Beatrice then went on to St George’s School in Ascot, where she took A-Levels in Drama, History and Film Studies.

She graduated in 2011 with a 2:1 in History and History of Ideas from the University at Goldsmiths College in London.

Although Beatrice and her sister Eugenie do not carry out public royal duties, they are both involved in a number of charity projects.

Beatrice’s main focuses are on children’s welfare, education and charities involved with dyslexia and learning difficulties. She was diagnosed with dyslexia in her childhood.

In 2007, she became a global ambassador for Children in Crisis (founded by her mother Sarah) and also founded The Big Change Charitable Trust with some of her friends, which aims to improve the lives of young people.

Alongside her sister, she is also a Patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust, as well as the Berkshire Community Foundation, Broomwood African Education Foundation, English National Ballet School, Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, The Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, The York Theatre Royal and The York Musical Society.

She was the first royal to complete the London Marathon in 2010, running with friends to raise money as part of ‘Team Caterpillar’, which supported a number of charities.

Although she is currently thought to be single, Beatrice was in a relationship with businessman Dave Clark for 10 years, up until their split in 2016.

The US exec recently married his fiancée of two years, Lynn Anderson.

How much Princess Beatrice worth?

Beatrice and her sister Eugenie share an estimated worth of £3.6 million, according to OK! Magazine.

The majority of their fortune comes from family trust funds set up by the Queen Mother. The siblings also reportedly received a large sum of money, following the divorce of their parents in 1996.
