Prince's Paisley Park to be turned into public museum in the fall
Prince fans will be able to tour the late singer's Paisley Park starting in the fall, reports Minnesota TV station Kare 11.
The famed recording studio will be turned into a museum and made available for public tours on October 6, per the request of the singer. Prince's sister Tyka Nelson said that the singer had always wanted to open Paisley Park and that only a few hundred people had had the rare opportunity to visit the estate.
The guided tour will show visitors Prince's recording and mixing studios, as well as his video editing suites, rehearsal rooms, soundstage and concert hall. Thousands of artifacts, including concert wardrobe, instruments, awards and motorcycles, will be on display.
Prince died of an accidental opioid overdose on April 21.
