Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Just Revealed the Gender of Their Second Baby
The Sussexes just revealed the gender of their second baby during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will be having a baby girl, the couple shared during the CBS primetime special. Meghan also said that her due date will be this summer.
"To have a boy and then a girl, what more can you ask for?" said the Duke of Sussex. "We've got our family."
Harry and Meghan first announced that they were expecting their second child together on Valentine's Day. At the time, the couple had released a black and white photo of themselves together taken remotely by their longtime friend, photographer Misan Harriman.
A spokesperson told BAZAAR.com "We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child."
The pair relocated to the United States at the beginning of 2020, since settling in Santa Barbara, California. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are already parents to almost-two-year-old son Archie Mountbatten Windsor, who was born back in May 2019. The trio have been living in their Montecito home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
During their interview with Winfrey, Meghan discussed her experience during her first pregnancy, revealing that there were several racist conversations within the monarchy discussing Archie's skin color.
"In those months when I was pregnant all around this same time, we had in tandem the conversation of he wont be given security, he wont be given a title...and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin will be when he's born," said Meghan. "That was relayed to me from Harry, that was from conversations that family had with him. It was really hard to see those as compartmentalized conversations."
