Prince Harry Drove Meghan Markle to Her Event Today and Frankly They Both Looked Amazing

  • Prince Harry made a surprise appearance and joined Meghan Markle for a royal engagement roundtable on gender equality.

  • Harry drove Meghan to the event, as you can see in videos below!

Happy Friday and what not, but also can we please take a moment to talk about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry? The royal couple have been truly going through it lately thanks to a highly dramatic summer (remember that private jet scandal?) and lawsuits against the British media, but they just stepped out for a new royal engagement with their heads in the game, and looked incredible.

Pssst: Here's Meghan's skirt.

Harry wasn't actually expected to join Meghan for today's engagement (surprise!), but he actually drove Meghan to her roundtable discussion on gender equality with The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and One Young World. Though the event took place over at Windsor Castle, so it wasn't exactly a long commute.

According to a video from royal reporter Rebecca English, Meghan told the group that the gender equality conversation "can't happen without men being a part of it," and that Harry's been working in the space since 2013.

This royal engagement comes off the premiere of Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, where Meghan speaks candidly about what a hard time she's been having. “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging," she says in the doc. "And then when you have a newborn, you know. And especially as a woman, it’s a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed. It’s, um…yeah. I guess, also, thank you for asking because not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”
