Lait‐Crème Concentre by Embryolisse is said to be every make-up artists' secret weapon, and here's why; it's a three-in-one lotion, primer and moisturiser altogether.

Created in 1950, Doctor Tricot, a dermatologist in Saint Louis Hospital, developed the Lait‐Crème Concentre when no available products could soothe and relieve his patients’ symptoms.

The lotion lists ingredients such as aqua, paraffinum liquidum (a mineral oil), and stearic acid that are fast-absorbing and helps keep moisture in your skin.

Used and recommended by professional make-up artists, the Embryolisse brand was an insider secret of top models and actresses who swear by the Lait‐Crème Concentre – often found in their carry‐on bag or travels kits, to combat skin dryness during a flight or simply to cancel out the effects of jet lag before a shoot.

You can use it as a moisturiser for day and night, a make-up remover to gently cleanse the skin, an express mask to plump up the skin instantly, or simply a balm after shaving.

So how do you first use it? Make-up artist Larry Yeo shared a tip: "It's great to apply on damp skin. Start from the drier parts of the face before moving on to the oilier T zone. It is a no-frills moisturiser and it can be used with various serums."

You could also use it as a primer before applying your favourite foundation. That way, your make-up doesn't 'move' even under your face mask.

The Lait‐Crème Concentre is made available in Watsons Singapore, retailing at S$39.90 (75ml).

You can also find it online at Lazada Singapore.
