These Popular U.S. Tourist Attractions Are Actually Haunted

Dark tourism is becoming increasingly popular—especially as Halloween draws near. But with so many haunted attractions in the United States, selecting which ones to check out first can be difficult. Luckily, the vacation rental search engine Holidu determined the most haunted tourist attractions right now—including some you may have not known are considered haunted.

Based on Google search data from the last year and using destinations from the Haunted Journeys database, Holidu figured out which haunted tourist attractions people are looking into most often. Some you’ve definitely heard of (or even visited by now!), like The Stanley Hotel that inspired Stephen King's The Shining. Others you may have never even known were haunted, like the Brooklyn Bridge. Here are the top 10 you’ll want to add to your spooky season bucket list:
