Beauty lovers from all over are celebrating their favorite holiday, National Lipstick Day — did you know it was coming or did we just give you a pleasant little surprise? In honor of this special occasion, Polyvore ranked their most popular lipsticks and topping off the list at number one is NARS Audacious Lipstick.

These gorgeous lipsticks are insanely popular, thanks to that special NARS formula that blends creaminess with the power of longwear lipstick. It’s no wonder that beauty lovers just can’t resist having this lipstick in their collections. NARS is one of those high-end yet accessible brands that lives up to their reputation, so we can’t say we are too surprised to see it topping Polyvore’s list.

The NARS Audacious lipstick line features 30 different shades of lip colors retailing for $34 each.

I’ve got an Audacious night ahead.

These rich, satiny, luxurious lip colors just can’t be beat. Every shade is positively divine and lasts all night long, you can’t beat that kind of quality.

In case this lipstick seems familiar to you, it’s because it just so happens to be one of the most popular red carpet lipsticks.

Rachel McAdams rocked the Eggplant shade at the Met Gala, Amy Adams wore it in Raquel at the Golden Globes, and Nina Doborev and Nicole Richie’s makeup artist, Beau Nelson, swears by the Lena shade. You seriously can’t lose with this line.

Polyvore also gave us a look at the other lipsticks in their Top 5 most popular lipsticks, and some of the results might actually surprise you! In second place there’s Lime Crime Buffy Velvetine Lipstick, in third place came Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Matte Lipstick, in fourth place was Givenchy Beauty Women’s Le Rouge Lipstick, and in fifth place was Sigma Beauty Power Stick in Spades Pink Lipstick.

We find the mix of high and low-end products to be absolutely fascinating, and it really goes to show that good quality can come at various price points. Do you agree with Polyvore’s assessment of their top 5? They’re all looking pretty good to us, and we will definitely be adding them all to our shopping carts. Slowly but surely, our lipstick collections will take over the world.
