SINGAPORE – With the circuit breaker period lasting until 1 June, most of us would either cook at home, buy takeaways from food stalls and restaurants, or order food deliveries as we adjust to living amid the pandemic.
For most of us who’ve been diligently cooking at home, it can be a daunting task to cook for a family of four or more (what to cook, what to eat!).
In last week’s poll, we asked you to vote for the dishes you’ve been cooking or baking at home, and 21% of Yahoo readers voted for, not surprisingly, fried rice!
The second top dish is pasta (19%) and tying for the third spot are porridge and chicken curry (8%). Fried noodles (7%) and bak kut teh (7%) tied for the fourth placing, while the comforting vegetable soup wraps up the top five of our favourite dishes (see poll results above.)
Share your thoughts on the poll topic in the comments below. If you think there are other popular dishes that we did not cover in the poll, let us know in the comments section too.
Fun bingo for Yahoo readers
Starting from last week, we will be releasing a fun, informative bingo game each week, corresponding to the poll topics. This week, download the ‘Foodie This or That Bingo’, which you can upload to Facebook and Instagram Story. Tag your friends and watch which friends of yours have a certain food preference. Follow us on our Instagram @yahoosg to re-gram the bingo!
