For the uninitiated, TikTok is a popular social media app to create and share short-form videos, many of which feature tweens and teens dancing and lip-synching to popular tunes.

In 2019, TikTok was downloaded over 1.5 billion times. The app, a unit of Chinese tech firm Bytedance, is seen as a key competitor to Instagram, the photo and video-sharing service owned by social media giant Facebook.

We asked you, Yahoo readers, whether you’ve downloaded the TikTok app, and 85% of you say ‘no.’

About 12% of you voted ‘yes’ (share with us your video moves!) while 4% of readers might consider downloading it.
