Wednesday marks the official series wrap for Pretty Little Liars, aka the greatest show on earth and the reason why so many lives will never be the same when the show airs its final 10 episodes next year. As a tribute to the show and her final “cut” on set, show creator and queen bee I. Marlene King penned a special note for her PLL family and fans. According to Marlene, all five PLLs will be in the show’s final shot. “Tears will be spilled, gifts will be exchanged, and final memories will be made. The most meaningful gift, however, is that we call ourselves ’PLL Family’ because that is how much we mean to each other.” She borrows from Spencer’s book and quotes Winnie the Pooh author A. A. Milne: “’How lucky I am to have something that makes saying good-bye so hard.’ And those words have never spoken to me so loudly.”

If you’re able to gather your emotions after reading the post, do turn your attention to Marlene’s ’gram of this lovely cast photo, shared after Keegan Allen officially wrapped the series for good. Either this was taken right before everyone’s floodgates opened or the makeup artists on PLL did a really good job covering everyone’s puffy eyes.

#PLLforever indeed.

The second half of Pretty Little Liars returns on Freeform in April 2017, which means you have some six months to prepare your good-byes to Rosewood and its beloved residents.
