With the easing of the pandemic restrictions, in-person events, roadshows and pop-up stores finally see a revival. Even weddings and birthday celebrations can afford to be more grand and lavish now.

For the kids, this means they can finally have the birthday party they have been dreaming about, and invite their friends over to join them for the joyous occasion. For the parents, though, you have to fork out the sum for all the party decorations, birthday cake and gifts.

However, for those who prefer to save for the rainy day, especially when the recession is looming, you can roll up your sleeves and take on some of the decorations yourself. With Canva, a free-to-use online graphic design tool, you can easily create videos, posters, banners and invitation cards even if you know nuts about design.
