Pitchfork Music Festival 2017 headliners announced

LCD Soundsystem, Solange and A Tribe Called Quest have been announced as the headliners for the 2017 edition of the Pitchfork Music Festival, to be held from July 14-16 in Chicago, US.

Held at Chicago's Union Park, the annual summer music festival has announced three of the acts who will headline this year. The rock band LCD Soundsystem (fronted by James Murphy) will kick off the event on Friday evening, followed by hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest on Saturday, and singer Solange will close the festival on Sunday.

The Pitchfork Music Festival has also announced a collaboration with Solange's label Saint Heron, featuring artwork, a film screening, talks, jazz sessions and more, located throughout Chicago from Thursday, July 13 - July 16.
