Piolo Pascual to return to television with new drama
18 Aug - It was revealed that Piolo Pascual is involved in a new drama project, the first television series he will star in after three years of hiatus.
As reported on PEP, the news was revealed by Dreamscape Entertainment's Leo Endrinal, who posted a photo of the cast of the new project on Instagram recently. He wrote, "Grinding soon, directed by Antoinette Jadaone."
Aside from Pascual, other stars featured in the photo include Arci Munoz and "Kita Kita" stars, Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez.
The drama will also mark the first collaboration between Pascual and Munoz, as well as the first drama for the love team of Rossi and Marquez - known to their fans by the tandem "AlEmpoy".
It is noted that Pascual was originally scheduled to return to television in 2016 through the series, "Written in Our Stars" alongside Toni Gonzaga. However, the project had to be postponed after Gonzaga announced her pregnancy. No news as to whether or not the project will be revived.
