Baking sure is fun, but sometimes you may not feel like turning on the oven. That's especially true on a hot summer day, which is one reason why we were so thankful when Pillsbury began adding "eat or bake" labels to its ready-to-bake cookie and brownie dough earlier this year to indicate it's now officially safe to eat straight from the package.

If you prefer your desserts already cooked, today is your lucky day. After dropping its ready-to-eat snack bars in birthday cake and brownie flavors, the iconic brand is releasing snackable cookie dough bites. Now, you can grab and eat your cookie dough on the go!

This new cookie dough innovation was spotted by Instagrammer @SnackGator. They appear to come in three flavors so far: birthday cake, chocolate chip, and peanut butter chocolate chip. And this Instagram sleuth gave these new products an even better review than their Ben & Jerry's counterparts.

"We spotted them at Meijer and picked up a bag of each," the Instagram review read. "And it's pretty much impossible to pick a favorite. They are THAT good! Imagine classic Pillsbury cookie dough just bagged up and ready to eat in the cutest bite-sized treats ever."

The news comes after we learned that Pillsbury has brought back two ready-to-bake doughs in fall-forward flavors. For a limited time only, you can grab both pumpkin and salted caramel apple cookie dough in your grocer's freezer. Oh, what a world!!
